We recommend assembling your crib 3-4 weeks before baby's due date! That way, if baby comes early you're all ready. And while we don't anticipate it, if we need to send a replacement part for any reason (for example: if something was damaged in transit), we also will have plenty of time to make sure you're all set!

Nestig cribs are made with sustainably harvested wood and non-toxic finishings. They are crafted in a family-owned factory in Brazil with decades of experience producing children’s products.

The Snow, Cloud, Candy Cloud, and Wave all include a mini-crib formation as well as the conversion kits to expand to a full crib, and then to a toddler/junior bed. They also include our Original mattress for the mini-crib, but do not include a full sized crib mattress which will need to be purchased separately. The Mountain Crib includes the full crib and toddler bed conversion kit.

Nestig meets and exceeds the safety standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and ASTM International — most recently, the ASTM F1169-19, ASTM F406-19 and ASTM F1821-19 standards. We’ve also taken our commitment to safety one step further by testing and certifying our products with the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA), whose requirements go above and beyond the mandatory governmental requirements.

While our mini cribs all have wheels and can be placed next to your bed, our products aren't designed for co-sleeping.

The Cloud, Candy Cloud, Wave and Snow all come with custom mini-mattresses! We don’t include a mattress for the full size with purchase, but we do sell full crib mattresses on our site from trusted brands, Naturepedic,Lullaby Earth, and Newton Baby! These — and any standard crib mattress — will fit both the full crib and toddler bed for each of our crib models.

Our Original 2" thick mini-mattress is hypoallergenic, has a non-removable 100% polyester cover, and is filled with 100% polyurethane foam. It is designed with a newborn baby in mind and complies with all US safety regulations.

Yes! We have partnered with Lullaby Earth to create an extra breathable premium option for our Wave, Cloud and Candy Cloud cribs, which is available as an add-on. It's PVC and vinyl-free, made from food grade materials, and includes a removable breathable cover. You can purchase one or find out more information here.

Our full size cribs and toddler beds are compatible with any standard size crib mattress. We love Naturepedic, Lullaby Earth and Newton, but choose whichever brand you like!

Nestig mini sheets will fit the mini size for any of our cribs — Wave, Cloud, Candy Cloud, or Snow. If you'd like to look for other sheets, most standard bassinet sheets with 4-way stretch will fit the Cloud/Candy Cloud mini-mattress and the Snow bassinet mattress. While listed dimensions may look different, the 4-way stretch allows sheets to fit our mini-mattress because the overall dimensions are similar.

Because the Wave mini-mattress is a bit wider, if you choose to purchase sheets elsewhere we have some more specific recommendations. These sheets have animal and outer space patterns. These are more geometric patterns. We also have a partnership with the artisan shop Little Moose By Liza! For certain styles in her shop, you can choose the Wave mini from the dropdown bar, and for other styles, you can type the dimensions in (22.5 in x 27.5 in x 2 in)!

Our Original mini-mattresses for the Cloud, Candy Cloud, Snow and Wave are not waterproof, so a mattress protector would be a good idea! However, if you have the Lullaby Earth mini-mattress (our premium upgrade) for any model, the mattress is waterproof and won't need an additional mattress protector.

This website makes Nestig-sized mattress protectors at a great price point. Simply choose the model you need and whether you'd prefer bamboo or microfiber.

Another option for the Wave and Cloud/Candy Cloud is the Nestig x Lullaby Earth mattress cover. (Be sure to select the correct model!). This is an extra cover for our Lullaby Earth mini-mattress, but it also works on top of the standard mini-mattress if you'd like. This cover provides waterproofing, and it also features an extra-breathable honeycomb design.

All Nestig products are covered by our 60-day return policy, which means that if you don’t love your product within 60 days of receiving it, you can return it for a full refund. To return a crib or full sized crib mattress, please email us at returns@nestig.com. For all other items, click here to start your return.

However, we know that you'll likely want to try out decor items with the crib itself! For any items in your order that are delivered before your crib, we’re happy to extend our return policy until up to 30 days after your crib has been delivered. If you'd like to start a return for a non-crib item during this extension period, email us at returns@nestig.com and we'll be happy to help.

No, please use it! We’d rather you get the full experience, using it as you normally would, so you can ensure that it's the right fit for your family. We’re confident that it will be!

No, all Nestig returns are free! We will either provide a prepaid shipping label or, in the case of a larger item, we will arrange a pickup from your residence, free of charge.

For cribs, no need to save the box as the item will be picked up by a white glove team. We are also able to arrange a contactless pick up, if you’d like to leave the product in whatever state it is in (assembled or unassembled) outside your home.

For other products, we recommend keeping the original box to make it easier to ship the return back to us.

The refund will typically be applied to the original method of payment within 5-7 business days of receiving the return.

Every Nestig crib is covered by our 18 Year Limited Warranty. All other products are covered by our 2 Year Limited Warranty.

Our warranty covers the original purchaser for any issues that arise due to manufacturing defects. It does not cover issues arising from misuse or from normal wear and tear (such as stains, scratches, and other forms of cosmetic damage). In the unlikely event of a safety alert or recall, we would notify you based on the contact and product information you provided on the Register Your Product page. Doing so is optional, but we encourage all our customers to register their crib just in case.

You can find the relevant information for your registration, including the model number and code, on the mattress support/platform of the crib!

We ship to all 50 states in the United States. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to ship to any US territories, APO/FPO/DPO boxes, or international locations.

Nestig products are made-to-order, so they each have different delivery times - consult each product page to see the estimated delivery time. If an item is on backorder, the item will ship on the date listed under the product and shipping will take about a week. This also means that items from an order will generally arrive separately since they ship on different timelines.

Unfortunately, because we make our products to order and operate on a no-inventory model, we are unable to arrange early or expedited shipping.

Our products are shipped separately for a couple reasons. The main reason is that each of our products are manufactured in different facilities. Because of our no-inventory model, we make products to order and ship them directly to you! The second reason is that many of our products have different delivery times. Whenever a product in your order is ready, we want to get it to you as soon as possible!

The boxes that our cribs ship in can be recycled. Some of the packing materials inside the box are not recyclable — we know there is room for improvement here, but our first priority is to make sure that the crib arrives in perfect condition for safe sleeping.

For our rugs, sheets and mobiles, we are proud that our packaging is 100% recyclable and plastic-free!
