Wave Mini Crib Mattress by Newton Baby

In a third-party CPSC accredited laboratory, tests showed that a baby gets 97% more air while breathing through a Newton Crib Mattress than on a conventional waterproof crib mattress. Newton Baby products have been independently tested and certified by UL to meet Greenguard Gold standards for the lowest chemical emissions. This mattress is 27.5" x 22.25" x 2", designed to fit perfectly with the Wave in mini.

While the Newton mini-mattress is not waterproof, it is water-resistant. Parents report that most messes will not go through to the core. The included cover is also fully washable. Newton does not recommend using a traditional mattress protector over their mattresses as this would hinder the breathability of the mattress (most traditional waterproof covers do reduce breathability).

The mattress is designed to fit with the Wave Crib in mini configuration. 

Washing the cover: 
-Zip fully closed prior to wash + dry
-Machine wash cold with detergent
-Tumble dry low

Washing the core:
-Hand rinse cold ( in shower or tub) 
-Use mild detergent
-Shake then air or fan dry
-Avoid heat or direct sun
