Lucie Fink and her husband, Michael, welcomed baby Milo to the family shortly after they relocated to a new apartment. By day, Lucie, the founder of Lucie Fink Media, is a self-employed video producer and lifestyle host—you’ve likely seen some of her engaging content on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok!
With the help of her interior designer mother, Fink created a cozy nursery for her little one, which includes thoughtfully repurposed pieces from the couple’s previous apartment (Milo’s rug, for example, formerly starred in Mom and Dad’s living room!).
We asked Lucie to share a bit more about designing Milo’s charming nursery and how she’s taking care of herself as a new mom.
Modern, colorful, and geometric.
“The collage artwork behind the crib was actually handmade by my mom. Also, the chair that is in the nursery is actually the same chair that was in my nursery when I was a baby. It was not the chair we intended to put there—we actually ordered one in July, but we haven't received it yet. So in the meantime, we put that rocker in there, which is really sweet.”
“I love the Nestig mini crib. I think it’s the cutest little crib ever; everyone that comes in and looks at it says how cute it is. We’ve also been loving the Nestig mini because we can wheel the crib anywhere in our apartment. And I also just love that it converts—it becomes a full size crib and then a toddler bed. So it’s going to be really useful throughout many years of this kid’s life!”

“So far, the most fun time in the nursery has just been when Michael and I go in at the end of the day and say goodnight to Milo and give him kisses. It’s been kind of surreal to be in the space that we’d been decorating for so long, but to have him there with us in the room. I’d spent so many days in that room, just wondering what he was going to look like and thinking about those moments.”
“This is something that my husband and I have been talking a lot about ever since the baby came. One thing that we are both trying to do a lot of is keeping up with activities that we used to do for ourselves before he was born. For me, that’s something as simple as going out and getting a pedicure and making sure I’m still taking care of myself. I’ve been putting makeup on every day, even though I’m not going anywhere, just because it makes me feel fresh and renewed.”
