Roman Shades for Perfect Sleep

How does the AutoStop work?

Pull the hidden rear handle to any height and it locks right where you stop. To raise it, give it a short tug down and it glides back up on its own. It all works one-handed.

Will it really block out light?

Yes. Every style has a full blackout lining, perfect for daytime naps and early bedtimes. For even more blackout protection, choose an outside mount.

Is it safe for a nursery?

The Hayes Roman Shades are fully cordless, so there are no dangling cords, which makes them a safer choice for nurseries and kids' rooms.

Should I mount it inside or outside the window frame?

An inside mount sits neatly within the frame for a clean, tailored look. An outside mount covers the frame & edges for maximum light blocking. To measure for an inside mount, take the inside width and choose a shade at least ⅜ in narrower. For an outside mount, measure the frame edge to edge and add at least 2 in on every side.

What sizes are available? How do I know which size to order?

Every shade is 64 in long and comes in three widths: Small (32 in), Medium (36 in) & Large (44 in).

Inside mount: Measure the inside width of the window casing at the top, then choose a shade that's at least ⅜ in narrower than that measurement. Measure the inside height in three places (left, center and right) and go with the longest measurement.

Outside mount: Measure the width and height of the window frame from edge to edge, including any trim. Then add at least 2 inches on all sides so your shade covers the full frame.
