This 2-in-1 twin bed, with a curved headboard inspired by the ocean, converts from a Montessori floor bed to a traditional twin bed, making it the perfect first bed for toddlers––that will last until they leave home.

A Montessori bed can be a helpful way to support independence during your child's early years. With the bed frame low to the floor your child can get in and out of the floor bed on their own while staying safely close to the floor. When ready, use the included conversion kit to raise the floor bed to a traditional bed height.

Optional side rails are available to ease the transition from crib to twin. They can be used with the Wave Kids Bed, whether its configured as a Montessori bed or at a more traditional height.

Shipping & Returns

This product is eligible for either Standard or White Glove Delivery. All shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.

White Glove Delivery

This product is eligible for shipping through our White Glove Service.

Once the product arrives to the delivery center closest to your home, you will receive an SMS or email to schedule a time for delivery and assembly. On the day of delivery you will also receive a call to confirm the appointment. At the appointed time, the White Glove team will deliver the product, assemble it in the room of your choice and remove all packaging.

White Glove pricing is based on your distance from a delivery center:

  • 0-50 miles: $279
  • 51-75 miles: $299
  • 76-150 miles: $379
  • We are unable to deliver this product if you are more than 150 miles from a delivery center

If your order includes other items from Nestig, they will ship separately via standard shipping through Fedex or UPS.


Standard Delivery

This item is eligible for shipping through our standard delivery which will ship via Fedex or UPS and be left outside the home.


Returns
All Nestig products except wallpaper and customized items are covered by our 60-day free return policy, which means that if you don’t love your product within 60 days of receiving it, you can return it for a full refund. However, we know that you'll likely want to try out decor items with the crib or bed itself! For any items in your order that are delivered before your crib or bed, we’re happy to extend our return policy until up to 30 days after your crib has been delivered.     Sturdy and beautiful

    I love that my daughter can grow into this bed for years to come. It was easy to put together and very sturdy. There was one piece that was drilled wrong but customer service was very responsive and quickly sent a replacement part. I would definitely recommend to other toddler parents.

    Beautiful design and quality

    Would highly recommend this extremely well-made and easily assembled bed. It is easily compatible with accessories, like a bed railing. Used as a twin bed right away and my child is a huge fan!

    Great design, good quality

    We transitioned from a Wave crib, which we had for three years to the bed. We love the curved design and the organic feel of the wood. It is good quality and our daughter loves her big girl bed! We reached out a couple of times over the years with questions and requests and their customer service has been the best of any company I have dealt with. They are very responsive and the founder is very hands on, which is refreshing.

    Wonderful, but frustrating

    The bed itself is our second Nestig product and the quality is outstanding. The wood feels so high quality and the craftsmanship is exceptional. I would give this a 5 star for all but one part - the assembly.

    To the manufacturer, part B is about 1/4 inch too short. And the result is an insanely frustrating assembly process when trying to connect the frame using parts B, C, and D. The frustration and absolute fury I felt is immeasurable. I literally had to find a spare bolt I had that matched the threading, use a grinder to cut off the head, and then use that to install the last corner instead of the part you provided. The fact I needed to do that left me feeling so upset and aggravated that I have to take a star off just for that. Please, either shorten the threaded length in the frame by a 1/4 inch or lengthen part B.
