Nursery Tour
Producer and business owner Hilary Simon knew right away that she wanted to include a Nestig crib in daughter Gia’s nursery. Hilary used the piece to guide her decor scheme, with a soothing atmosphere being her key goal. “I spent a lot of time trying to make it a peaceful calming place for Gia,” she reflects.
But, after having prepped a well-curated space, Simon learned that the old adage “less is more” really does prove true! Shares Hilary, “Babies just need a good crib, swaddle and love!”
We asked Hilary to share a few more thoughts on Baby Gia’s fabulous space.
Interior style in 3 words?
Chic, clean, and minimal.
Are there any pieces, products or decor with a special story you can share?
The picture with the ‘have a happy heart’ design was knitted by Gia’s great-grandmother. She made it for me when I was born and now it hangs in Gia’s room.
What would you tell another parent about your Nestig crib?
The crib is so calming and perfect. I love that it adjusts sizes as your baby grows and that it's on wheels.

We like to think about nurseries as spaces for everyday magic, any favorite motherhood memories in the room so far?
Every moment with Gia is magical, but our daily reading hour in the nursery is probably my favorite.
